As you know, this year I will not be running a Fantasy Football competition, as baby Skelly number 2 is on the way in less than 6 weeks, and that’s where all of my efforts will be. Unfortunately, I’ve not had any takers for the running of the competition, so I’m calling it a day. Big thanks to everyone who particpated in the past…I hope you find a suitable replacement.

Hi everyone,
This coming season (2009/10), I will not be running a Fantasy Football competition. Having run it for the last 4 years, I’ve made this decision because Skelly baby number two is on the way this September, and because I’m really with a couple of other projects right now, principally The Odyssey. If you fancy running it yourself, it takes around 4 hours to set up at the beginning of the season, and 30 mins per week thereafter. Obviously, if you don’t have a website of your own from which to run it, you could always set up a mailing list for the results side of things. If you’re interested, please get in touch with me via my ‘contact’ page, and I’ll pass on the necessaries.

Outside of the top 5 prizes and second-last position, this year I’m also giving away £10 to each single team to land in 25th, 50th, 75th and 100th place. Where two or more teams have landed in that place, an independent person will draw a winner (tomorrow) between those teams only. Where no single team has landed in a prize-winning place, a non-winning team will be picked out of a hat at random, and that prize presented to the team manager.
